A Level 1 inspection is a visual check of the readily accessible parts of your chimney, flue, and firebox — the right choice for annual maintenance when nothing has changed. A Level 2 inspection includes everything in Level 1 plus a video camera scan of the inside of the flue, and checks accessible attic, basement, and crawl-space areas. Level 2 is recommended when buying or selling a home, after a chimney fire or major storm, or when changing your fireplace or heating appliance.
